An Indian Computer? Come on.

amidasimputer

What? And indigenous product from India? A Handheld? No. A PDA? No. A Pocket PC? No. What the heck is this? Ah, the latest incarnation of the famed Simputer. A complete computer in the hand.

Finally. Although it's not the poor man's PC anymore. What with the price starting from around $ 240. But finally it's out.

I like the fact that it has a built in Web browser and with the Reliance Data Plan, I really don't need to carry a laptop anymore (Not that I do in the first place!) But with basic connectivity, email, Personal Information Manager, even an MP3 player, it sounds like a shape of things to come.

Wishlist: Wi-fi (currently optional, with third party cards), compatibilty with MS Office would be an added advantage. Maybe an integrated phone next?

I like the flip-flop view though!

Have a look!
